Take the North Carolina Fruit & Veggie Challenge
May is 'Take the North Carolina Fruit & Veggie Challenge' Month!

In North Carolina, fruits and vegetables are available year-round for everyone to enjoy, but now is the kick-off of the prime harvest. Farmers markets, farm stands, pick your own farms, produce carts, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) programs, grocery stores, restaurants, schools and more are offering produce at the peak of freshness.

The N.C. Fruits & Veggies Nutrition Coalition, Media and Promotions Workgroup, is offering the following promotional resources toolkit for your use to promote the month.

Please let us know about what you do to celebrate 'Take the North Carolina Fruit & Veggie Challenge' Month and promote fruit and vegetable consumption.

Symposium
The NC Fruits & Veggies Nutrition Coalition Symposium attracts an average of 150 professionals, all of whom are passionate about fruits and vegetables, nutrition and health. Both coalition members and non-members convene to network and hear the latest information about increasing fruit and vegetable access and consumption in their communities.
